The Police Service Commission said it has scheduled April 28 to 30, 2026, for the written examination of applicants seeking enlistment as police constables, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force.
The commission said the examinations would be conducted at designated centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
It added that only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening would be eligible to sit for the test. Applicants were advised to log on to the official recruitment portal to print their examination invitation slip.
The commission said eligible candidates could access and print their examination invitation cards from April 24, which would contain details of their test schedule, including date, time and venue.
It said candidates must come to the examination centres with a pen, their National Identification Number slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission bearing a clear photograph, and a printed examination invitation card.
Applicants are also required to appear in white shorts, white T-shirt and white canvas, the commission said. The PSC said that the recruitment process is free and warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters.
It added that job racketeering and any form of financial inducement would attract legal consequences.
