Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has died at the age of 65 after batting cancer.
The actor’s daughter, Kira Taiwo, announced his death on Sunday evening during a live session on her Instagram page.
The development comes days after she disclosed that her father was battling stage four cancer.
The news of the actor’s death was also confirmed by the founder of Best of Nollywood, Seun Oloketuyi.
Oloketuyi announced the death in a post on social media.
Taiwo Hassan a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry, was known for his roles in Yoruba-language movies and his contributions to the growth of Nollywood.
