The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said it remains a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging to improve living standards and address inequality in Nigeria.

Southwest National Vice Chairman of the party, Akinbowale Omole, made the remarks in Ibadan where he unveiled the party’s Southwest leadership structure. Omole said the ADC aims to bridge the widening gap between the rich and the poor through policies that would protect wealth while empowering disadvantaged Nigerians.

He added that the party would “return the nation to its owners,” describing ordinary citizens as the true stakeholders in governance.

The ADC official also pledged to restore dignity to Nigerians and tackle the country’s security challenges if given the opportunity to lead. “We will ensure that governance works for the people and not a select few,” he said.
